Wedding photography is a type of photography that involves capturing wedding photography photos of couples. Photography for wedding has evolved from being a mere wedding activity to a creative art form over the years. This art form has undergone many changes in terms of approach and presently has become an essential ingredient of wedding for every wedding couple throughout the world. In order to know more about wedding photography one needs to understand the approaches towards the art form.
Along with the evolution of the art form throughout the years, there have been two approaches that evolved out of photography wedding. The major approaches towards photography for a wedding are: Traditional approach and Photojournalistic approach. While traditional approach is yet not faded, photojournalistic approach is the in vogue approach.
Traditional approach to photography wedding reflects the old traditional form of capturing wedding photography pictures where couples poses in formal postures alone, along with friends and along with family. In this case the pictures capture formal poses of couples, guests, food, hall and everything around the wedding. Thus, this approach gives a subtle view of the entire marriage.
On the other hand, photojournalistic approach of photography is about wedding photography brought with creativity and artistic talent. Here, the photographer captures informal poses of the couples and the guests. This is a much experimental approach towards photography for a wedding. In this approach the whole idea is to capture the emotions and real gestures of the wedding.
