Carole Feurman is an American sculptor whose creations are among the collection of the best-known museums of the world such as The Hermitage, St. Petersburg, Russia. She is classified as a hyper realist sculptor.
Her works include both cast and carved – sand cast bronze, marble, painted resin, digital art installations and print series. The series of photographs of her works shown here are all of the genre ‘painted resin’ which are constructed of resin deposited in moulds and sanded, polished and painted subsequently. They seem to resemble, in their heightened reality, Madame Tussaud’s wax exhibits.
